Registration: BEGINS AUGUST 8th through SEPTEMBER 2nd. LATE registration begins September 3rd – 16th with a $20 Late Registration Fee.

The program begins October 3rd to November 7th. (No practice on Halloween)
This is a Co-Ed Program that offers 5th thru 8th graders the opportunity to develop basic passing, hitting, defending, & serving skills. While building on teamwork, communication, and strength.
Players are group by grade and practice is as follows:
5th & 6th Graders will practice Tuesdays at High Mountain 5:15 pm-7 pm. 7th & 8th graders will practice 7:15 pm-9 pm.
Players will need:
Gym sneakers. (Converse or flat shoes are NOT RECOMMENDED. A running sneaker is appropriate.)Knee pads

Grades K thru 2:: Clinic Soccer:: $55 ** Clinic Kindergarten must be 5 and in KINDERGARTEN to be eligible to play ***
Grades 3 thru 8 League (NWBSA): $85 ** Grade your child will be entering for the 2017-18 school year
**League (NWBSA) Player / Coach Photo Required Children in grades 3-8, and their coaches participate in the North West Bergen Soccer Association (NWBSA) League. ALL players and coaches are required to update their profile, prior to registration, with a “recent” picture. Please help us the expedite this process as all cards must be completed and stamped by the league prior to the first game.

Ed Furst will be conducting Rutgers coaches certification class at the American Legion 512 High Mountain Rd., North Haledon. The cost is $15.00 to all North Haledon Residents.
Pre-register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please bring exact change if bringing cash, checks can be made out to North Haledon Recreation. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to start time.

The North Haledon Recreation Commission is holding their one and only fundraiser for 2017 on January 27, 2017, at 7 PM at the Brownstone. It will be a beefsteak that will also include a trivia contest. Tickets are $65. Checks should be made out to the “North Haledon Recreation Commission.” Since this is our only fundraiser for the year we would like to have a large turnout. There will be tryouts for the boys’ 7th/8th grade and the boys’ 5th/6th-grade travel basketball teams. Tryouts will take place from 7:30 to 9 PM on Monday, November 14 and Wednesday, November 16 at Eastern Christian High School gym on 50 Oakwood Avenue in North Haledon .
Please note that travel basketball is more competitive than our in-town program. There are no minimum playing times although all coaches strive to have players participate. If you have any questions please contact Angelo Cifaldi (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the 7th/8th-grade team and Mike Kurzynski (973-626-0609) for the 5th/6th-grade team.
There is a separate charge for the travel basketball teams. If your son makes the team the cost is $100 in addition to what you paid for your in town registration. If you son has not registered for in town he must do that to play on travel.
