Our REC program is divided into 2 leagues – Girls and Boys and 3 divisions; 3rd & 4th grade, 5th & 6th grade and 7th & 8th grade. Brand new for the 2019-2020 season, North Haledon will now be playing in the Passaic Valley Youth Basketball League, in which we will be playing teams from Woodland Park & Totowa. This league will be very competitive for all. Our REC program focuses on sportsmanship, equal playing time, and getting everyone involved in the game equally. NH Travel Basketball

For those athletes looking for the chance to test their basketball skills against a higher level of competition, we have travel teams for both the girls and boys. The girls have 2 teams, a 5th & 6th grade team and a 7th & 8th grade team and are part of the Northwest Bergen Passaic Girls Basketball League.

The boys are part of the North Jersey Junior Basketball League. Depending on numbers and talent they will have 2-3 teams for grades 5 – 8.

While Travel basketball still revolves around sportsmanship, it is more competitive and has more of an emphasis on winning.
